Blackstock

The possibility of a large granodioritic intrusive in contact with mafic metavolcanics which could possess metasomatization. Any radiating structures or fractures off of the circular intrusive which could act as possible conduits for the remobilization of gold bearing fluids.

Location: 38 km SE of Timmins, Ontario
Size:15 claims
Target Minerals::Gold

Regional Exploration and Production:

The Blackstock, Oke & Ford Properties, all situated in Ontario, were acquired by staking. There were no underlying agreements. The staking was done based on management's interpretation of geological structures found on the properties from government files.

Local Exploration:

Timmins, Ontario has collectively has produced approximately 67 million ounces of gold over a 100 year history. Closest past producer is the Langmuir nickel mine immediately west in Langmuir Township. Next door to Inspiration Mining, Golden Chalice Resources and Liberty Mining with the Mcwatters, Hart and Redstone nickel deposits.

Property Geology:

The property lies within the Superior Province of Archean basement rocks, in the Eastern Canadian Shield. It is situated in the Abitibi Greenstone belt.

The property is predominantly underlain by mafic volcanics and biotite granodiorite/granite (Watabega Batholith). Very little bedrock exposure exists on the property. A mafic volcanic/amphibolite and a biotite granodiorite/granite bedrock area occur east of the Whitefish River.

An old gold showing occurs on leased mining claim 283 immediately north of the northeast portion of the property. This gold showing known as the Len Hill Prospect reported in the 1930's visible gold in quartz-carbonate veinlets in felsic dykes that intrude mafic volcanics. A gold value of 0.41 oz Au/ton is reported from the showing. The mafic volcanics at the showing are moderately carbonatized.
It is hypothesized that the circular northeast large magnetic high is probably a magnetic portion of the Watabega Batholith. There is bedrock exposure within the magnetic high anomaly that has been previously mapped as biotitic granodiorite/granite. No outcrop exposure is mentioned in assessment and government mapping over the smaller magnetic high anomaly.

Historical Highlights:

The property area has little exploration work documented in the Timmins Resident Geologists office. This work is summarized briefly below:

1993 Vera Cruz Minerals- Linecutting and a magnetic survey were performed in late September - early October, 1993. It outlined the small airborne magnetic high (see below).

1997 Patrician Gold Mines- 18.3 km of linecutting was done. Magnetic and Horizontal Loop electromagnetic surveys were conducted over the entire grid. It further outlined the small airborne magnetic high (see below). A questionable weak ground HLEM conductor is coincident with the magnetic high.

1999 Ellsin Resources Ltd conducted a program of 10.2 kilometers of line cutting, 9.6 kilometers of ground magnetics, and 11 kilometers of ground induced polarization. This was done west of present day claim 4210209. Nothing significant was outlined.

Work Completed to Date:

In 2006 and 2007, Amador Gold Corporation staked the majority of the property. Exploration work in 2007 consisted of an airborne magnetic and time domain electromagnetic (VTEM) survey conducted by Geotech Limited, over the entire property. The VTEM survey did not identify any significant conductors on the property.

The magnetic survey identified two strong oval shaped magnetic highs on the property. The largest magnetic high anomaly is 3.4x3.6 km in size and underlies the northeast part of the property (all claims east of the Whitefish River). The centre point is at 512700E, 5357700N (NAD 83, UTM zone 17). A second small magnetic high anomaly 600 x 600 m, whose centre point is 508650E 5355510N, is located southwest of the large magnetic high. It also appears that there is a dyke trending 335 between the two magnetic highs.
