Amador Gold Corporation has applied innovative exploration techniques and geological concepts to cost-effectively select more than 20 properties of exceptional merit in established mining camps and emerging mineral districts of Canada.

Advanced exploration programs incorporating both new and traditional techniques are under way or planned for several priority projects in Ontario. These projects are road-accessible, near existing mining infrastructure and have strong potential for significant discoveries of precious metals, base metals and polymetallic deposits.

THE TEAM

Amador is a member of the Hughes Exploration Group of Companies and is led by a team with a stellar track record of discovery and development in Canada.

Founder Richard Hughes has created immense wealth for shareholders of numerous junior companies through his role in the development of the Hemlo gold camp of Ontario, and the Belmoral, Beaufor and Sleeping Giant gold mines in Quebec.

Amador operates its field programs from a central exploration facility in Timmins, Ontario, shared by all companies in the Hughes Exploration Group. This reduces overhead costs and allows the junior companies to share geological data and the diverse skills and broad experience of a major company-size exploration team.

THE STRATEGY

Amador examines under-explored, obscured, overlooked and pristine portions of known mineral districts using new and traditional technologies and geological models to generate a portfolio of quality exploration projects.

To add value to the carefully selected properties, Amador implements an innovative exploration strategy based on the track record of the Hughes Exploration Group, in which almost one of every 30 prospects explored to date generated a discovery.

To maintain this extraordinary success rate, Amador uses advanced technologies such as VTEM geophysical surveys over its core properties. This newly developed system can detect anomalies at far greater depths than ever before, and is an extremely valuable tool to explore properties covered by extensive overburden.
