Dale Gold

  • 1990's drilling returned 6.08 g/t gold over 2.4 metres
  • Drilling and trenching has tested 5% of the estimated 4,000 metre strike length of the shear zones
  • Channel sampling by Amador personnel in 2007 returned anomalous gold values
Location: 390 km SW of Timmins, Ontario
Size: 976 ha (61 units)
Target Minerals:: Gold

Regional Exploration and Production:

Favourable geology with similarities to the Timmins camp.

Other Local Exploration:

Timmins Gold Camp 67 million oz gold produced

Property Geology:

Well developed east to northeast shear with significant silicification, carbonate alteration and minor sulphides hosted within mafic volcanics. The shear occurs in the Swayze Greenstone Belt a possible extension of the prolific Abitibi Greenstone belt.

Historical Highlights:

Gold was first discovered on the Property in the early 1930s. Trenching and drilling during the mid 1990s discovered two 20 metre to 30 metre wide parallel shear zones containing anomalous gold. Gold is associated with pyrite in quartz veins within the quartz-carbonate-chlorite-sericite altered shear zones. The best value from drill core was 6.08 g/t gold over 2.4 metres. It is reported that drilling and trenching tested 5% of the estimated 4,000 metre strike length of the shear zones.

Work Completed to Date:

Limited work by Amador, channel sampling September 2007
